Lane College Faith Over Fear Presentation

What is anti-Muslim discrimination? Who are American Muslims? What does it mean for me, a Christian and/or person of faith & goodwill, to choose Faith Over Fear?

Join the Lane College community for a special Chapel Service program, Faith Over Fear: Understanding & Countering Anti-Muslim Discrimination on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 at 11:00am, followed by conversation. The program will include guest speaker, Nina M. Fernando who serves as Executive Director of the Shoulder to Shoulder Campaign: Standing with American Muslims, Advancing American Ideals, a national multifaith coalition dedicated to countering and preventing anti-Muslim discrimination in the United States.

The Christian Methodist Episcopal Church is a national member of the Shoulder to Shoulder Campaign. As one of the nation’s oldest historically black colleges associated with the CME Church, Lane College, in a partnership with student group interLACED, is proud to host this special program, Faith Over Fear: Understanding & Countering Anti-Muslim Discrimination.
