Our team members, Cassandra Lawrence and Becca Tyvoll, will lead a mini-workshop on Tuesday afternoon July 11th in Baltimore, Maryland at the Episcopal Church’s All About Love: A Festival for the Jesus Movement. "Faith Over Fear: Countering Anti-Muslim Discrimination" 75 minute mini-workshop is designed for faith and community leaders who wish to more effectively and strategically address and prevent anti-Muslim discrimination in their communities. This workshop, was developed alongside national and local partners and leading experts. Participants will be offered a brief exploration of the complex issue of Islamophobia and anti-Muslim discrimination in the United States along with facts and data about the American Muslim community. They will gain practical messaging & communications tips and tools, we well as concrete ideas and engagement tactics to make change on this issue.
