On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, The Shoulder to Shoulder Campaign convened prominent U.S. faith leaders across traditions at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. to jointly acknowledge, address, and commit to building a nation where all people, no matter their faith or cultural background, are treated with fairness, dignity and respect. 

Through a joint written declaration that was shared at the gathering, these leaders came together in a show of interfaith solidarity and dedicated themselves to preventing the alarming escalation of anti-Muslim and anti-Jewish discrimination and violence in the United States. After the event, we shared the declaration publicly, inviting faith leaders across the United States who wish to add their name to do so.
