Our nationwide Iftar listing (what’s an Iftar?) open to guests of any religion and none, is a testament to the ways communities are already treating each other with dignity and respect. This listing is a guide for people who have not met their Muslim neighbors, as much as it is for people already involved in multifaith engagement.
The Iftars listed here are held in mosques, community centers, synagogues, churches, and public spaces, including parks and in people’s homes. Some of these Iftars include an interfaith program, while others are community events for people of different backgrounds to join. While these Iftars take on a variety of forms, all of them are opportunities to get to know some of your neighbors over a shared meal.
Most of these Iftars are open to the community, some are by invite only (noted accordingly). If you would like to include an Iftar in this listing, please let us know by completing this form. If you have some time to contribute to this campaign, consider volunteering with our team mapping interfaith iftars.
