This training, organized by Shoulder to Shoulder in partnership with the Northwestern College Campus Ministries, Reformed Church in America, Resonate Global Mission, Al Amana Centre, and the Christian Reformed Church's Office of Social Justice is designed for people of faith who wish to consider how our commitment to Christ compels us to show hospitality and welcome the stranger. We'll share up-to-date research, resources, tools, and messaging to be stronger, strategic, and more effective actors in shaping our nation toward a greater vision - where all people, no matter their religious or cultural background, are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
This training, organized by Shoulder to Shoulder in partnership with the Kaufman Institute, Kuyper College, the Christian Reformed Church's Office of Social Justice, and the Reformed Church in America, is designed for faith leaders, lay leaders, and multifaith or faith-based organizational leaders (with a special focus on Christians*) who wish to counter anti-Muslim discrimination in their communities. We'll share up-to-date research, resources, tools, and messaging to be stronger, strategic, and more effective actors in shaping our nation toward a greater vision - where all people, no matter their religious or cultural background, are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.
Shoulder to Shoulder, Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC), and Seeds of Peace are coming together to host a Youth & Young Adult Virtual Summit on addressing religious discrimination in our classrooms and communities.
This training aims to reduce and to counter anti-Muslim bias, discrimination, and violence in the United States by working with faith and community leaders.
