The program at the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions brings together faith and religious leaders, academic and industry experts, and institutions and grassroots organizers committed to interfaith dialogue and action. Shoulder to Shoulder (S2S) will be leading a mini-Faith Over Fear workshop on Friday morning.
Our Shoulder to Shoulder staff team are excited to join ELCA Rostered Ministers for a mini-Faith Over Fear Workshop.
Our team members, Cassandra Lawrence and Becca Tyvoll, will lead a mini-workshop on Tuesday afternoon July 11th in Baltimore, Maryland at the Episcopal Church’s All About Love: A Festival for the Jesus Movement. "Faith Over Fear: Countering Anti-Muslim Discrimination" 75 minute mini-workshop is designed for faith and community leaders who wish to more effectively and strategically address and prevent anti-Muslim discrimination in their communities.
Our Executive Director, Nina Fernando, will lead a panel discussion of leaders from the Muslim and Christian communities on Multifaith Approaches to Countering Anti-Muslim Discrimination.
